Message from the President

Welcome to the new 2011-2012 San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame year! 

The Committees which are structured to implement our Mission of SAWHOF are already working in the two great and important areas:  Induction of outstanding women into the organization, and the identification of deserving local women pursuing a college education to receive a scholarship in order to improve their status, interests, and needs of our community. 

The Board of Directors has met twice already and has approved the SAWHOF website which will be used in setting forth all procedures, dates, and timelines regarding Nominations ands Scholarship applications.  Our Membership Committee will make an effort to contact all women who have been inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame from 1984 to the present and involve them in the fabulous activities which are being planned for this year.  Together we will continue to promote professional, intellectual, social and physical well being of our members.  This is our challenge!  MEMBERS are the KEY to SAWHOF success!
